The Mission

Paradisus Dei exists to help couples and families discover the Superabundance of God.  This is accomplished through potent formation that gathers people together to experience God in their midst.  Through seven simple, yet powerful steps or covenants, families can participate in the superabundant love and mercy of God in their own lives, and put themselves on a path to experience a foretaste of paradise in their own homes.  This formation yields results so positive that they are truly unheard of in our current culture.  These results continue to fuel the growth of the Paradisus Dei ministry, largely by word of mouth. The work of eleven full-time staff, many contractors and countless volunteers supports this mission to build the domestic church.

The Founder: Steve Bollman

During the Great Jubilee, Steve Bollman experienced a personal call to found a ministry dedicated to the renewal of marriage and family life. In 2002, Steve set aside his professional interests to answer that call, founding Paradisus Dei.

Through Paradisus Dei, Steve launched the That Man is You! men’s program in 2004, began development of Hope Undimmed as part of the Life as Epic ministry to youth/ young adults in 2012, and in 2014 began development of The Choice Wine: 7 Steps to a Superabundant Marriage. These programs integrate the teachings of faith, the findings of modern science and the wisdom of the ages while meeting individuals where they are—all hallmarks of Paradisus Dei programming.

Steve’s writings have appeared in The National Catholic RegisterInside the Vatican and The Catholic Answers. He lives with his wife and daughters in Houston, Texas.
